Why We Do It

For too long families have struggled to ensure the quality of care for their loved one in long-term-care. Unsure where to go, how to proceed, what their rights and their loved one’s rights are. Suffering misinformation, misguidance and misdirection. We do this to put an end to the struggle, suffering, stress, anxiety and more!

We don’t replace your local Family Council—we strengthen it! Our community connects you with others who understand your journey, offering support, ideas, and encouragement that go beyond in-facility meetings.

We welcome everyone who has a family member or friend in long term care as well as those considering the need for long term care for their loved one. You don't need to already have or even be part of an in-facility Family Council to join our Community here and benefit from our shared experiences, valuable resources, and expert insights.
